In September 2006, and February and March of 2007, the mean price had marked higher than the other months. This is because of the releases of the High-Definition (HD) and Full-HD models in the home appliances market and also the spread of Core 2 Duo drove the higher custom PC parts in the market.

On the other hand, from February to March, the increase of the PC equipment sales had influenced on the total sales of the PC market. We believe it was the result of the launch of Windows Vista.

On the other hand, in the case of PCs, the laptop sales were flat but desktop PCs showed the double digit ratio decrease from the last year. Windows Vista was unable to stimulate the demands in PCs but in peripherals and PC custom parts. As a result, Windows Vista made some positive effects on the over-the-counter market.

In the market, the value of Windows Vista PCs will be gradually plummeting and more peripherals will be compatible toward this Summer. The sales of PC is projected to remain flat this Summer, and it can expect to recover 100% sales compared to the last year from Fall.
